I want eyelash extensions so bad it hurts. Ok, maybe not that bad but pretty darn bad. I’ve almost pulled the trigger several times but then I look at my bank account and bills and won’t let myself do it.

After weeks and months of dreaming about eyelash extensions I received a facebook invite from one of my girlfriends from high school to her “lash bash”.  This peaked my curiosity immediately. I thought it was too good to be true when I started reading about this new 3D mascara by Younique. It gives the illusion of eyelash extensions without the hefty price tag.  The mascara is called Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes and is only $29 ($35 with shipping). It’s worth every penny. Reasons we love this mascara ||

  • Cheaper than eyelash extensions (extensions are approximately $100 for initial application then $50-$100 every few weeks to have them filled in)

  • Easier than applying fake lashes which can be very tricky to put on by yourself

  • Don’t have to worry about the Fiber Lashes falling out

  • The mascara works quickly giving you beautiful lashes in minutes

How it works ||

  1. Apply a thin coat of your regular mascara

  2. Use a lash comb to separate lashes and eliminate clumps

  3. Apply a thin coat of the transplanting gel

  4. Before gel dries apply fibers onto lashes

  5. Apply another thin coat of the transplanting gel to seal in fibers

  6. Repeat until lashes reach desired thickness

  7. To remove at the end of the day just use regular makeup remover
