To say these Resource Girls have been busy is an understatement!
We have both been on the move this holiday season and are ready for some much needed chill time.
Christmas is this week, an RG reunion (with our favorite guys) is four days away and our shopping is done so we're two happy campers.
Here's a little recap of what we've been up to and how we're taking a few moments to unwind.
Journeyman Distillery Artisan Market ||
What could be better than a market in a distillery?
We're not quite sure! We were proud to be alongside almost eighty other vendors selling our BE YOU tees and debuting our feather necklace craft pack.
The market was the weekend before Thanksgiving and we SO appreciate everyone who made it out even with the snowy weather.
LC's mom and sister came to help, and to have a little girl's weekend. A huge thank you to them for making this possible. If you're in the Michiana area you have to check out the Journeyman's Distillery.
DIY Class at Make South Bend ||
Make South Bend is, "South Bend's first full makerspace where you can create, get inspired and grow in a coworking space with democratized tools and equipment."
LC shared our no-sew clutch DIY with an awesome group of ladies at Make South Bend.
Pictured below is Ashley from Fierce Forward. If you have not been to her website you need to check it out stat, talk about girl boss. Future collabs to come with this bomb lady.
Also, we have to say we love seeing everyone's personalities shine when it comes to DIY. This is why we love making things ourselves, it's one of a kind. There's nothing that makes us happier than seeing everyone embrace their own unique style. BE YOU!

Peach & Pepper Trunk Show ||
Cat spent a Saturday in December at Whorl Shop for the Peach and Pepper trunk show doing a DIY Christmas ornament. Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to to have such strong, independent women in our lives. We so admire these lady's drive and unique skill set.
It's exciting to see what happens when people have a dream, follow it, and are utilizing their natural abilities. We feel lucky to be apart.
Denver Style Magazine Holiday Market ||
Our DIY ornaments made a reappearance at the first ever Denver Style Magazine Holiday Market.
We had a great time hanging out with other local vendors and helping people make one of a kind ornaments. Again, it's so fun to see everyone's unique spin on even the simplest project.
As much as these Resource Girls love blog life, and we REALLY love it, we're looking forward to this Christmas break. We are both taking time off from work and blogging to spend some much needed time with our families. LC is super excited about an extra day off work to bake and watch Christmas movies at home before family is in town. Cat will be driving (yes, you read that right, driving) eighteen hours home to Michigan to spend Christmas with her family. This is also the first time in five years she hasn't had to work a holiday at the hospital!
As of tonight we are officially on a week long hiatus and we couldn't be happier.
We also have to say we're really excited to be opening Christmas gifts in person this year. The day after Christmas we have a holiday rendezvous planned with our two favorite guys. It's the best way to end one year and start a new one.
And while we're at it, a special thanks to these two guys for putting up with us, our voices that get progressively louder the longer we talk on the phone, taking photos for us, coming to events, giving us feedback, listening to our stories, dealing with our DIY projects taking over the house, posting on Reddit, catching our type-o's, and always offering their support. We're two lucky ladies.
