A few of my current favorite things ||
One || Camo Pants!
I could put five exclamation points if I let myself after those words. I've wanted a pair for far too long and when I found these bad boys at an American Eagle Outlet store for $12 it took no convincing. I grabbed a pair in my size and ran straight for the register. Perfect for fall and adds a little bit of spice to whatever outfit I pair them with.
Two || Tazo Chai Tea Latte Mix: Pumpkin Spice
I found this scrumptious drink mix at Target. I also saw it at Meijer recently, so it's quickly making it's rounds to all the grocery stores. It's super easy and quick. All you need is your preferred milk of choice, for me it's almond milk, this mix and either a microwave or stove. Mix equal portions of both together and heat it up. That's it! If you're on the go and need a pick me up, skip Starbucks and make your own chai at home for cheap! It's legit and now in my fridge on the regular.
Three || Potted succulents
I found these adorable potted succulents on my recent visit to Wisconsin. My mom and I actually found them in a grocery store of all places. My mom convinced me to get them and I'm glad she did! They are the perfect bit of earthy freshness our apartment needs this time of year.
Four || Baseball Hat
I've always loved hats and have been wanting to add to my stash of them for awhile. Last fall I was on a mission to find the perfect chambray baseball hat. I remember Cat was visiting and we looked in probably five different stores with no luck. I never did end up finding one, but stumbled upon this cutie recently on a major sale at Old Navy. I love that the colors are perfect for fall and winter and I'm happy to say I've already worn it a few times! Bed head never looked so good.
FIVE || Socks
I'm kind of a sock hater. I've been known to wear nothing under my boots in fall and winter because I dislike them so much. I hate feeling claustrophobic and socks always make me feel that way. I blame it on my dad. When I was little he used to not let us sleep with socks on and he'd tell us how our feet needed to breathe at night. Ever since then I've disliked socks, especially thick, fuzzy socks. Eck. I recently was shopping on a lunch break with some coworkers and one of them pointed out these socks she recently bought from Old Navy. They are the perfect, hidden sock inside your converse. They come up over the top of your foot a little, they're thin and breathable. They're different than those thin liner socks I see girls wearing with their flats. I hate those. They feel weird and roll off my feet too easily. Like I said, sock issues. For being a sock hater though these puppies are great! I'm still kicking myself that I didn't buy a few more pair. I've searched OldNavy.com and can't find them now. Figures! Not only are they perfect for my converse, but I've also found that they work great under my boots in the fall.
