Bomber jackets have been popping up all over this season and quite honestly I want about four more. I love that these jackets are funky and different and SO versatile. They are perfect for a night out but can also be great for brunching with girlfriends and lastly, my favorite, a great way to transition from yoga to happy hour. My leather jacket has always been my go-to this time of year for a lightweight jacket but happy to change it up this season! This bomber I got from my favorite Denver boutique, Fab’rik, who will mail you anything for only $5. I love all of these ladies and supporting their amazing store. The clothes are outstanding quality and affordable. I’ve also linked some of my other favorite bomber jackets at the end of this post!
Out and About ||
The other trend I can't stop with is overalls. Good thing it's hard to find the perfect fit because I would positively own a few more pairs. The most recent pair I got are cropped and from Gap. They are super comfy and again very versatile. I'm not sure if bomber jackets are acceptable to wear with overalls but I'm doing it so that's that. I also had the idea of just wearing this jacket as a shirt. It's definitely lightweight enough so that will be next on my list to try. I went for a more casual vibe here but could have even taken this look up a notch with heels. I’ve worn this jacket with my frame skinnies and a simple white top underneath. The possibilities are truly endless.
Yoga to Happy Hour ||
It seems like I am always making about six stops on any given excursion and usually one of them is a workout. Have no fear when it comes to a look like this, it's SIMPLE. Throw your bomber on with your yoga pants, add some hoops and a bold lip and you're out the door. You don't even need a separate bag to change for post-workout excursions. Attitude is everything so if you're insecure about having sweat a little bit or worried that your hair won't look right you've sabotaged the look. Channel that post-workout high and bask in the glow of all your endorphins. I never choose between workout and pleasure. I do both and make it work and if that means unwashed hair or a top knot then so be it. I do positive self talk and tell myself that making my health and mental state is a priority. I’ve always lived by the motto that I’d rather have worked out and look a little less glam than be all done up but skipped my workout. No need to sacrifice either though!
LC talks about investing in trends here and I couldn’t agree more. I wanted about six bomber jackets but not sure if this trend is here to stay so instead I got one I love, that’s versatile, didn’t cost a fortune and that I can mix in with a bunch of different looks.
