There are few times in life when you sit back, enjoy the ride and bask in the glow of celebration.
A wedding is one of those unique times that truly calls for a HUGE celebration. When I say there's no one else I'd rather celebrate or have a bachelorette party for than Lauren, it's the truth!
This girl believed in love for me when I wasn't sure love existed, she loves the people in her life unconditionally and is always putting everyone else's needs before her own.
This lady deserves all the happiness in the world and to have everyone taking care of her for a change. Now let's get this party started!
Want to take any party up on a notch? Buy one of these! We had a blast snapping mini polaroids (the size of a credit card) with this camera. Everyone we met out had a blast with it too. And we didn't need an excuse to shake it like a polaroid picture but in case you did need one, now you have it!
Don't know what to take photos of? Make your own mug shot signs or order them here.
Friday night we brought our VIP guest, Jamal, out with us to the Bottled Blonde (pictured above).
Saturday night we went to Hub 51, our all time favorite Chi Town restaurant. If you are ever in Chicago you have to go to Hub 51 and get a glass of Hub Punch!
After dinner we whipped out the glow sticks to dance the night away. Cat had packed a ton of glow sticks and then Nathan surprised Lauren with glow sticks prior to leaving for the weekend festivities, so to say we were the life of the party was an understatement.
We would never let a little rain keep us down!
"Close friends are truly life's treasures. Sometimes they know us better than we know ourselves. With gentle honesty, they are there to guide and support us, to share our laughter and our tears. Their presence reminds us that we are never really alone."
- Vincent Van Gogh
We LOVE good coffee and are always on the hunt for new spots in Chicago where we can indulge.
This trip our new fav coffee joint and spot for BOMB food was Beatrix. Great eats and amazing coffee and teas. You will not be disappointed.
A weekend full of friendship, shopping, the city, and loads of fun is sometimes just what the doctor ordered. Life and wedding planning has felt super hectic for me lately, so getting away with my closest friends was much needed. I seriously can't say THANKS enough to Cat, Kelly, Nicole S., Nicole D., Emily and Jill for showering me with so much love and celebration in Chicago! It's not often we get a girls weekend away with no kids, no work or blogging, and have an excuse to rock out and wear glow sticks! #CorzettThreat didn't disappoint and was the perfect send off into this new and wonderful ride called marriage!
