These Resource Girls are not quite sure what we love more - coffee, dessert or cute drinkware. We’re super excited to be partnering with the lovely sisters from The Initial Co. to bring you a bomb coffee recipe that involves all three of these things! The Initial Co. is an awesome resource for unique gifts. They have everything from baby to bridal to birthdays. Many items can be monogrammed and personalized but there are many items that can be bought and gifted as is, like these Kate Spade glasses.
Your first thought when you see, “Cheers!” is probably to think of a yummy cocktail but today we’re taking a different spin on a cold refreshing drink and talking all things iced coffee. The first step in creating this yummy recipe is coffee ice cubes. Yep, you heard us right. In true Resource Girl fashion we are reusing our leftover coffee. Ever wonder what to do with that extra coffee in the pot that went untouched? Portion that coffee into ice cube trays and stick it in the freezer. Once you have formed ice cubes you’re ready to create your masterpiece!
- Start with your coffee ice cubes, fill the glass!
Pour the chocolate almond milk three quarters of the way to the top of the glass
Add one tablespoon Silk Caramel Creamer or could even use a touch of caramel syrup
Now top with whip cream
Garnish with crushed Bark Thins
Lastly, add your cookie straw for sipping
Some of us like our coffee iced and some frozen. Prefer a frozen delight instead of on the rocks?
Add eight ounces of almond milk to four to five coffee ice cubes and throw in a blender.
We are kind of obsessed with the idea of coffee ice cubes. We also like the idea of just plain coffee ice cubes in the morning with a touch of almond milk. Get creative around the holidays and add a candy cane or even crushed candy canes on the top of your whip cream. You could add sprinkles for a birthday or celebration or even crushed cookies. If you wanted to try an iced coffee cocktail we would recommend Baileys Almande Liqueur. The possibilities are truly endless. One thing we can guarantee is that your guests, spouse, or roommate will for sure be raising their glasses and begging for another drink! Salud!
We know you may quite possibly be just as obsessed with these Kate Spade glasses as we are so the lovely ladies at The Initial Co. are offering all of our readers ten percent off their purchase with code ‘ResourceGirls’ now through the end of September. Cheers!
Thank you to The Initial Co. for sponsoring this post. All opinions, and the recipe, are our own.
